Moral philosophy and behavioral ethics; and moral and political implications of contemporary capitalism.
Professor Jeremy Evans received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and currently teaches courses in Ethics at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His courses focus on a variety of issues in the philosophy of capitalism and the ethics and politics of business.
Professor Evans also occasionally teaches in the Philosophy Department at Tufts University. Â
His research interests are at the intersection of normative ethics and moral psychology. Broadly, he is interested in how a better understanding of our natures as valuing creatures can inform our methods of moral decision-making at the individual and collective level.
